Columns

The columns

Boards and Capital is written by four named columns, each with its own beat and its own way of opening a story. Minute Book carries what boards, shareholders and central banks decided, Counting House the numbers, Small Print the analysis of rules and codes, and Company Seal the editor's notes. The names come from the boardrooms we cover. Every column works from primary documents and links each figure to its source, so a reader can check any line.

The columns are not people. They are named columns of the newsroom, in the tradition of newspaper columns that write under a title rather than a name. Each is written by Boards and Capital's editorial system, which uses AI tools for research, drafting and checking, and every piece is published under the responsibility of the publisher, who answers for it. The editor, Linda Mile, is an avatar, not a person. No column has a face, a biography or a career. Corrections appear on the article with the date. Write to editor@boardsandcapital.com.
